First light!  Star Campers at the Spring 2007 event made a first ever journey to the site of the new Kielder Observatory and were rewarded with clear skies.  This is an image of the Milky Way through Cassiopeia, low and  just above the tree tops.  Four minute exposure with a Canon D20 on the new Astro-Trac mount.
